Metallica slates to play in India



Metallica is going to play in India.

American heavy metal band and Big 4 Thrash pioneers Metallica is scheduled to rock and role India in October 28, 2011. Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo has confirmed it on 25th April and it is heard that the band has signed up to perform at the inaugural ceremony of Formula 1 Indian Grand Prix schedule to be held from 28-30.

The race will be held at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh near New Delhi, India. Before that they will be busy in playing in Europe and Latin  America. "Also, we are going to play India in October," Trujillo said. "That should be interesting, playing a place we never thought in our wildest dreams we'd (go) to play. It's an honor for all of us that we get to be a part of that whole music scene as a metal band sharing our music with fans in India at this incredible concert!"
Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax who are considered the Big Fours of thrash are now playing  regularly and it's been warmly welcomed by the audience. Actually the members of the four bands have been familiar from very early of their career and they now hope to give some good version to the audience.
