American actor, comedian, rapper, record producer, radio and television personality Nicholas Scott "Nick" Cannon popularly known as Nick Cannon has made a history but on different ground. He attempted to break Guinness World Records for the most hugs given in one hour. But yet Guinness officials have not verified whether he was successful on not. The Earlier record for the most hugs in an hour is 1,749 which was set by Nick Vujicic on Sept. 25, 2010.
“I would like to invite everyone to come help me break the Guinness World Record and let’s ‘Hug It Out,” Cannon, 31, said in statement prior to the event, which went down before last night’s (August 19) Mets vs Brewers game at Citi Field in New York. The participants were gifted with a Nick Cannon Mets T-Shirt for their hugs and first 100 among them won free tickets to that night’s MLB (Majou League Baseball) game by the “Rollin with Nick Cannon Morning Show”.CBS (Columbia Broadcasting System) reports that Paper Jamz of WowWee will donate a toy for each hug as donation for the children of Mets Care Room at the New York Hospital of Queens. This certainly will be recorded in history if not the record of Nick Cannon.
