In "Our Idiot Brother" that hits the big screen on Friday August 26, Rashida Jones plays the role of Cindy and she is a girlfriend of Zooey Deschanel, playing the role of Natalie. But they are lesbian and that earns mixed comments from various critics as Francisco Cronicle says it "really funny and true to life". Boston Globe even goes so far as to call it as, "emotionally bogus."Leaving all this the "Park and Recreation" star Rashida Jones are advised by Natalie Portman about how skillfully a lesbian kiss can be given as she had experienced the lesbian kissing in "Black Swan."
"I'm friends with Natalie and I asked her [what to expect]," says Rashida. "She was like, 'Dude, it's awkward to make out with your friends - I'm just warning you right now. It's super awkward!"
"It was totally fun," says Rashida. "I mean, it was slightly awkward, only because Zooey and I have known each other for a long time. It's kind of weird to kiss your friends. But, you know, she's so pretty - she doesn't make it that hard!" "I should give [Zooey] a name, right?" adds Rashida. "I would just call her 'Softy.' She's soft... very soft."
